Dr Greg Behm BVSc, MVS
Veterinarian, Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
Greg graduated from Sydney Uni in 2001. Since then he has worked in small animal practice in Sydney as well as 3 years working in the United Kingdom.
He completed a Masters Degree in Small Animal Practice, focusing on medicine, surgery, radiology and pathology in 2009.
Greg enjoys all aspects of small animal clinical practice from complex medical cases to ultrasound and surgery.
Greg has a household with children and a plethora of pets including 2 dogs, a cat, a snake, a praying mantis and around 10 cherry shrimp.

Dr Paul Kennelly
Veterinarian
Paul graduated from University College Dublin (Ireland) in 2018. He spent 3 years working in Essex/London and the last 3 years in Sydney as a small animal vet.
Paul’s areas of interest include small animal medicine with a focus on ultrasonography and small animal surgery with a particular interest in all things orthopaedic.
Paul lives in Woollahra with his girlfriend Imogen and their British Shorthair Kevin.

Dr Jackie Yip
Veterinarian
Jackie graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 and has dedicated her career to small animal practice in Sydney, including eight years as a mobile vet. Jackie enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has shared her expertise through Bondi Vet’s online Q&A. She values building trusting relationships with clients and their pets, always striving to provide compassionate, personalised care. Jackie also speaks Cantonese, which helps her connect with Sydney’s diverse pet community.

Dr Kristy Tsang
Veterinarian
Kristy graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Sydney.
Following graduation, she has worked in a few different busy general practices around Sydney. Kristy enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but developed special interests in ultrasonography and surgery. She is passionate about continued education and has taken several courses to hone her skills in those areas.
Kristy was born and raised in Hong Kong- she is therefore native with Cantonese and fluent in Mandarin. When she is not at work, Kristy enjoys travelling and exploring different walking trails with her partner and her beloved fur-child Nugget.

Ashleigh Markland
Practice Manager
Ashleigh completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2017. She loves every aspect of her job, especially medical nursing and ensuring that clients and their pets feel as safe and comfortable as they can.
Ashleigh has two fur babies who live with her parents, Sparky (a feisty domestic short hair) and Peppa (a loving and devoted Kelpie). She also has Franklin who is a domestic short hair who has asthma. He also loves the water and has his own floatie or the pool!

Tania Minas
Practice Manager
Tania is a seasoned Veterinary Nurse with over 12 years of experience, joining our hospital in 2019 and advancing to a managerial role in 2024. Her clinical passions include orthopaedic and major abdominal procedures. Tania excels in staff training and development, leveraging her exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills. She delights in meeting new people and hearing the heartwarming stories about their beloved pets (especially chihuahuas). She understands the special bond between pets and their families and is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised care.
Outside of work, Tania cherishes time with her loving family and friends, including her young daughter Mackenzie, Ragdoll Olivia and adorable senior chihuahua, Eve. Her dedication to delivering top-notch patient care and mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Carolyn Andreou
Veterinary Nurse
Carolyn has been working as a Veterinary Nurse and caring for local pets for over 20 years. She prides herself on a positive attitude and providing a friendly face when greeting clients and their fur family.
Carolyn’s favourite part of her job is caring for hospitalised patients and being part of a team that nurses them back to health. She makes it a priority to ensure every patient receives compassion and love when they are unwell and away from their families.
Over the years, Carolyn has taken time off to travel, care for orphaned animals in Africa and spend time with her young family, pet turtle Diego and dog Jake. Carolyn thrives on being part of a strong and caring group of nurses and veterinarians and is always eager to welcome new fur faces and their families to the Burwood and Bay Veterinary Hospital.

Taylor Stone
Veterinary Nurse
Taylor graduated with her veterinary nursing certificate in 2023, and started working at the clinic at the beginning of her studies in 2022. Taylor absolutely loves to learn and constantly expand her knowledge regarding animal treatment and care, with a keen interest in anaesthetics and complex cases. With her friendly and bubbly demeanour she easily makes the most anxious patients feel comfortable and enjoys making bonds with clients and their pets, especially staffy’s who have a special place in her heart.
In her spare time when she isn’t in the clinic, Taylor has a passion for aerial arts spending most of her time upside down and enjoys time with her grandparents, who she helps care for. She has always had pets growing up but currently had two cats of her own, Frostbite and Fang. Taylor is a talented and passionate Veterinary Nurse who adores and strives to excellence in all things veterinary care and is a much loved and valued member of the clinic.

Hannah Richardson
Veterinary Nurse
We warmly welcome Hannah back to our veterinary team after her brief hiatus to focus on family. Hannah’s passion for animal care began early, starting as an animal attendant during high school. She then pursued veterinary nursing, driven by her dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.
Professionally, Hannah has developed a special interest in anaesthesia, continually seeking to enhance her skills and knowledge in this critical area.
At home, Hannah’s hands are full with three energetic young boys and her oldest addition, Theodore – a lovable rescued Bichon who has captured her heart. We’re thrilled to have Hannah rejoin our team, bringing her expertise, compassion, and warmth to our patients and clients alike.

Velvet Krix
Veterinary Nurse
Meet Velvet, our talented and compassionate veterinary nurse. Graduating from TAFE in 2023, Velvet brought her skills and enthusiasm to our hospital, quickly becoming an invaluable member of our team.
Professionally, Velvet is passionate about advancing her knowledge, particularly in anaesthesia. Her dedication to delivering exceptional patient care shines through in every aspect of her work.
Outside the hospital, Velvet’s creative side flourishes. A gifted singer and art enthusiast, she expresses herself through various mediums. However, her true masterpiece is her beloved cat, Goose – a beautiful cornish rex and the centre of her universe! When Velvet isn’t caring for your furry friends or spending quality time with Goose, you might catch her harmonising or exploring the world of art.
